Val d'Orcia #3

This is the last part of pictures taken in Val d'Orcia - near Montichello and La Foce you can find nice meandering roads and if you have more luck than me, can even take nice pics. Mine are poor, but however to show the places I decided to put them here. Hope will have better light next time.

Val d'Orcia #1

I've found paradise for photographers - Val d'Orcia, it is characterised by gentle, carefully cultivated hills occasionally broken by gullies and by picturesque towns and villages. Region extends from the hills south of Siena to Monte Amiata. Definitely recommended for every fan of landscape photography heading to Italy!

Crete Senesi

The Crete Senesi refers to an area of the Italian region of Tuscany to the south of Siena. It consists of a range of hills and woods among villages. The distinctive grey colouration of the soil gives the landscape an appearance often described as lunar - what means great place to take picture the whole year. In the spring - colors are green, in the autumn brown and gray. I was trying to find good spots just for few hours. Next time I must plan more time in this beautiful place!

Montepulciano

According to Wikipedia Montepulciano is a medieval and Renaissance hill town. For me it is the famous place known from wine production. I like Montepulciano d'Abruzzo and Vino Nobile di Montepulciano and you also should try these wines... but now just enjoy some pics.
