Golden Forest Hermitage and Krzyżtopór Castle

During my recent trip to Sandomierz area I've visited very interesting place called Golden Forest Hermitage in Rytwiany. This is nice church in the middle of the forest. Unfortunately current owner damaged it by cutting all the trees near the church itself, so it's not as attractive as it was before. Although still worth visiting.

Then I also went to one of my favorite places in Poland - Krzyżtopór castle. This time I was very disappointed. The whole castle has a lot of renovation works taking place inside, so you can't take any nice pictures. Moreover light was also not perfect. Finally I managed to take only few pictures in last rays of sunset...

Knights in Sandomierz

On the way back from Baranow I stopped by Sandomierz to see some knights in the streets. I don't think additional comment is necessary, so please just enjoy some pictures...

Baranów Sandomierski Palace

There are some nice, but not so known places in Poland. One of them is Palace in Baranów Sandomierski. It's beautifully renovated palace open to the public since few years. I definitely recommend visiting it. Please see some pictures below to get idea how it looks like.

Endomondo

My Suunto training watch broke down yesterday. Heart rate monitor sensor and foot pod stopped working, so most valuable features of the watch are gone - it's useless now. I can use it as a normal watch only. Yesterday I managed to run without measuring my results, but today decided to check new tool discovered by my friend - endomondo. It's website dedicated to people with interest in different kind of sports - runners among others. You simply install a small application on your mobile (with built-in gps receiver) and it measures your speed, distance and count calories burnt. Moreover it even draw your track on the map (unfortunately my gps looses signal in the forest, so it's not very exact)! It's really nice, I only miss heart rate monitoring here, but have to think about some solution. I can recommend endomondo to you if you are running or biking or even skating. Nice application and you can share results with friends or even publish them on the wall of facebook. If you have facebook account, you can see my morning track and results...
