DeLorean

Probably everyone have seen the famous movie "Back to the Future". When it was released back in 1985 I was fourteen and immediately fell in love. And not in the girl next door, but in the car that starred in that movie - DeLorean! Of course the whole magic was build around time travels, but what I liked more, was the look of the beast. So it's really nothing surprising that when I saw this car with my own eyes 25 years later, I had to have picture with it. And it wasn't a DeLorean - it was the real one - the one that is the star!

Sunny Sunday in Wilanow

Day was very sunny and I decided to visit Wilanow and try to take some pictures. Of course place was very crowded and completely dig up due to complete redecoration. In spite of all I managed to take some pictures you can see below...

Shifting skyscrapers in Warsaw

Today I decided to practice tilt shift lens a little bit. Weather was nice, so I went to Warsaw city center and took pictures of some skyscrapers (if we can call them this name). All pictures were taken hand held with manual focus and shift feature of the lens. Sometimes it's not easy and as you can see lines aren't perfect. I just wanted to proof that it's possible to leave tripod at home if you're lazy...

Wines#8: Heartland

Recently I've visited my favorite wine store - Winnice Poludnia. They had new sort of wines from Australia and as you know I like this remote region. I decided to try one of famous Heartland -Dolcetto Lagrein 2006. As one of Internet sites claims "This wine is opaque purple in colour with hints of brick red. On the nose there are lifted aromas of mulberry, cassis with a hint of currants. Nuances of dried straw and eucalypt add freshness and density. In the mouth, flavours of cracked pepper, cedar, cherries and wood smoke. The palate is rich, balanced by firm savoury tannin." In my personal opinion this wine is just good for almost every meal, very mild and tasty. I'll definitely get back to this wine, especially because price is really nice - like 40 zlotys or so.

Visit to Cracow

Last week of March I had opportunity to visit Cracow. This was a last week before Easter, so Cracow was full of trinkets and palms. I also used rare occasion to see procession of Archbrotherhood - this is a group of people in black hats - like Cu Clux Clan... I know pictures are poor, but it was not easy to take them.
