On the last day of our wonderful visit to amazing Iceland we've finally had more time to see Reykjavik. It's not very big city, but is quite charming and has one great building - Harpa. It gives you plenty of photographic opportunities. I would like to show you here only couple of them... others try for yourself - it's really worth going there!

One of the amazing things in Iceland is the biggest glacier in Europe - Skaftafellsjökull. It is located in Skaftafell National Park in the eastern part of the island. Our original plan was to find ice cave but it turned out that ice caves are usually created in winter time and they're not easy accessible. In that case we decided just to hike on top of the glacier and see how dirty it is. Usually people imagine glaciers as something clearly white - this one was black - ice melted with ash gave this color.

Iceland is the country when there's really difficult to find tree not planted by people. But I've found such a place. Just next to the glacier. I know it's strange but it's true. There's a path from the parking that leads you to one of the world's miracles - Svartifoss and it goes almost all the time between green trees that are higher than you. After 20-25 minutes of light hike you reach the waterfall and artificially looking rocks. It really rocks!

Driving over Iceland from Vik to the East we came across small interesting place with beautiful waterfall. I immediately decided to stop and setup my tripod to take few pictures with longer exposures. My friends did the same. After 10 minutes of photographing it was like 5 or 6 cars stopped and plenty people started to take pictures of same place. They even started to interrupt my ideas, so I decided to pack up and go farther to the glacier. But managed to take at least couple of pictures I like. Here they are!

There's nice lighthouse next to Reynisfjara Beach. And the view is captivating from the place! Don't miss it when on Iceland.

Next to Vik - remarkable city of Iceland where we left our first car and took our newer car - there's nice beach called Reynisfjara. It's famous due to nice rocks. They really rock!
